LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Owner and president Robin Connell announced today Leafscape’s acquisition of Plant Space, plant care specialists based in Northwest Arkansas.
“We are thrilled to announce the acquisition of Plant Space by Leafscape. This strategic move aligns perfectly with our vision and will significantly strengthen our position in the market,” said Connell. “The timing of the opportunity was perfect, and we are incredibly excited about the opportunities that the acquisition presents.”
Under Connell’s leadership, the company has continued to grow each year while maintaining a legacy of premier client service and plant care.
What started as an interiorscape service arm for Westwood Gardens – a local nursery and garden center in Northwest Arkansas – was acquired by Plant Space in 2019 and evolved into its own separate, interiorscape company.
Plant Space customers will receive the same quality of service and products under the acquisition as well as some enhanced offerings. Customers can expect product long-term and short-term rentals, custom interior and exterior botanical designs and installation, and ongoing care from the Leafscape team for their spaces. “We pride ourselves on our designs and service,” Connell said. “That’s really what sets us apart. We are so excited to be able to bring our expertise to our new Northwest Arkansas interiorscape customer family.”
Leafscape traces its roots to 1980, when a young entrepreneur who loved plants started a business. Over time the company grew to be the largest interiorscaping company in the state. What started as a Central Arkansas business has extended to include installations across many parts of the state. In 2019, the company expanded its interior plant service offering area to address design, installation, and service to clients in Northwest Arkansas as well as still serving the Central Arkansas market.
